"Wolf Moon" Not "Wolfman"

Are you energized? Can't sleep? Well - maybe the wolf moon is keeping you up. Take a look! As you may have noticed on our home page, today is a Full Moon. It is known as the Full Buck Moon because bucks shed their antlers this month or the Full Thunder Full Moon, because the number of thunderstorms peak this month.. But, what do you think about a Full Moon. Does it make people a little weirder? Does it impact your sleep or lack thereof.

The Wolf Moon will appear big and very bright tonight. The first full moon of the year is also known as the wolf moon. The moon appears wider and fuller than any other moon of the year. The name wolf moon came from the hungry wolf packs that howled at the moon near Native American villages hundreds of years ago. Wolf Moon is also referred to as the old moon and moon after Yule. This full moon will appear 14% wider and 30% brighter than a typical full moon, according to Spaceweather.com

According to Yahoo Space:
The moon is, on average, 238,855 miles (384,400 km) from Earth. The moon's orbit around Earth – which causes it to go through all its phases once every 29.5 days – is not a perfect circle, but rather an ellipse. One side of the orbit is 31,070 miles (50,000 km) closer than the other.
So in each orbit, the moon reaches this closest point to us, called perigee. Once or twice a year, perigee coincides with a full moon, as it will tonight, making the moon bigger and brighter than any other full moons during the year.

Today was a Goood Day! Got a sore throat but the beat goes on. Had to go to work this morning, seems like everything is wrong - I got a cold hearted mean doing woman and a slave driving boss - I can't shake these chains - these chains that bind me (BB King sang that).

Was on my way to the dog park with Sammi, our Springer Spaniel and my cell phone rang - It was the bookeeper - oops forgot she comes in on Tuesdays so told her I'd be right over - Sammi got to run around the office property and after working all days dealing with new orders, rush orders, (good to get orders) F I N A L L Y got to go take Sammi to the dog park so she could run baby run, run baby run - back into my arms again (the four seasons). Everything was good - and cold @ 10 below but clear blue skies - except for an aggressive dog that attacked Sammi - I wish people could not let aggressive dogs mingle with trained dogs - it's a dog eat dog world.
